29/01/2010 : Update on EGM / AGM(posted by Neil Tegg)

Following a few queries I thought it might be useful just to clarify a few points and give some further information before the EGM / AGM

The reason for calling the EGM is to put everybody in the picture regarding the Club’s current financial position and gaining the commitment of the playing membership to the proposals to move the club forward.

The main aim of the AGM which will follow the EGM is to elect the Officers and the Captains of the various sides and also to set subscriptions and match fees for the 2010 season. The proposals from the committee are that both Subscriptions and match fees and remain the same as 2009. Any Subscriptions unpaid at 31st May will incur a surcharge. This should also help us to encourage new players to join.

Senior Subscription £80.00

Junior / Student £60.00

Senior match fee £10.00

Junior/student match fee £5.00

As last year there will also be the option to pay a one off combined fee to cover both Subscription and match fees for the entire season. This must be paid in full by Saturday 8th May. Seniors £260.00 Juniors £150.00.

Whilst there will be an “Any Other Business” agenda item the main purpose of both meetings is not to spend hours debating the rights and wrongs of various issues but to download information to everybody and to elect a team of enthusiastic individuals to move the club forward in 2010.
